FSB understands the construction industry.  We represent project owners, contractors, professionals, suppliers, insurers and sureties.

Contract Drafting

We regularly work with owners, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to negotiate and draft their construction contracts. We are well-versed with the structure and standard provisions of these contracts – but recognize that each contract is unique.

Design and Construction Litigation

We actively represent owners, architects, contractors, and installers in claims of defective design, installation, or materials involving commercial, residential, and condominium projects. We have extensive experience and proven success in handling claims for property damage, personal injury, and loss of use, in arbitration, litigation, and on appeal.

Condominiums and Homeowner Associations

We represent condominium and homeowner associations in construction and loss matters, to resolve disputes if possible, but aggressively litigate those that cannot be resolved.  We also defend condominium associations in liability claims by third parties, and in disputes with their members.

The firm was formed in 1996, based on a commitment to professional excellence, both in representing our clients and serving your community. You will find these values in everything we do, and in the people who comprise the firm.

A commitment to professional excellence means service to our clients, working in their interests – always. We work with our clients to build relationships of trust and confidence, recognizing that legal cost should be an investment rather than an expense. A commitment to professional excellence means building a team of outstanding attorneys, paralegals and support staff, responsive to our clients’ needs and concerns. We have built a team of experienced, skilled and dedicated individuals, to be knowledgeable in our advice, aggressive in our representation, and always timely in our response. A commitment to professional excellence means service to our community.

The people of Ferguson, Schetelich & Ballew have played vital roles in bar association, civil organizations, charitable organizations, and non-profit endeavors.
