Successful construction projects are the result of a team effort. Successful legal representation also relies on a team approach. At Horn Aylward & Bandy, LLC, we partner with you and your team to seek the best possible results as efficiently and as promptly as possible.

Our construction practice group serves the needs of companies throughout the construction process. We assist contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, architects, engineers and insurers on private and public, commercial, industrial and heavy construction projects. We can assist in all facets of a construction project, including MBE/WBE/DBE certification and renewals; contract formation, drafting, negotiation and analysis; issues involving bidding such as responsiveness, mistakes in bids and bid protests; claim avoidance; claim preparation and prosecution; insurance and surety issues; and defense of claims asserted by others. Whether your issue is simple or complex, we can help.

We bring experience and positive results in analyzing and resolving issues that arise during the course of the bidding and building processes, such as schedule or delay issues (caused by weather or other events); changed conditions or differing site conditions; extra work; “pay when paid”/”pay if paid” issues; prompt payment laws and regulations; asserting and defending mechanic’s liens; payment or performance bond claims; indemnity claims; maintenance and warranty issues; and suspensions/defaults/terminations.
